What We Believe

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6.

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God.

II Timothy 3:15-17.

• We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return.

John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:15; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4.

• We believe people receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life through Jesus Christ, the only way of salvation.

Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 4:12.

He led us to ask and answer questions as a team that we have never addressed regarding our joy in service, our individual contributions to our team, and our relationships with one another as a team. We received much encouragement from his depth of knowledge and experience with ministers and the life of a minister.” Staff Team Leader

Jennifer Gonzalez

Jennifer Gonzalez, MA, NCC, LPC

Jennifer Gonzalez was raised in a Christian home as the daughter of a minister and a public school librarian. She never expected to follow in both of their footsteps. After pursuing a pre-med degree, God made it abundantly clear that her calling was helping students, both through the church and the public schools. She dedicated the first 16 years of her professional career to these very things. God has given her so many opportunities to serve people in both their happiest and most trying times. This led her to a deep desire to walk alongside others as they find who they truly are in Christ. She developed a passion for the truth. In 2017, she received her Master’s in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and also holds her credentials as a National Certified Counselor. Along with working for LifeRecovered for the past 2 years, she also has a private counseling practice in which she sees clients from her community that are not currently in ministry. Jennifer served as an addiction counselor at a residential rehabilitation facility for teenage boys ages 13-18. She is also currently serving as a School Counselor at an elementary school. Jennifer’s passion, however, is still very much for those in ministry. Jennifer has served alongside her husband in ministry for the last 20 years. Along with their 2 beautiful children, they have served as Pastor to Students across the state of Texas. They have been actively involved in the Super Summer organization, as well as other organizations that support the growth and spiritual development of today’s young people. She desires to help women find their true identity in Christ and to live the life that God has called them to live. She believes that God has created us physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and spiritually. This is also the desire and vision of LifeRecovered! She will help you evaluate each of these areas in your life and take action toward healthy living in each area. She will walk alongside you as you seek to find peace, balance, and the life you were created to live!

I support Life Recovered because we as followers of Jesus Christ have an obligation to support and care for one another. Jesus states, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, you are to love one another” John 13:34.

Life Recovered offers ministry leaders hope and healing with skilled counseling and grace-field guidance and accountability. We often think that those in leadership positions do not struggle like us “normal people”. This mentality can leave our spiritual leaders to feel alone and left to struggle on their own. Ministry leaders live in the same sinful world we do and need a safe and skilled place for healing and counselling. Life in ministry can be joyful and fulfilling but can also be exhausting and frustrating, leading to ‘burnout’ and leaving ministry. I have heard of numerous accounts of pastors and leaders being restored to joyful ministry through counseling provided by Life Recovered. Practically speaking, if we invest in ministry leaders, they will be better equipped to minister, which produces an exponential effect on the church.

I am convinced that God is using Life Recovered in great ways, supporting Life Recovered through giving and prayer is an amazing opportunity and privilege.
