Dayna was first drawn to the field of counseling in high school, when she began to notice the stigma the church often placed on individuals with mental health issues. After completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology, she was drawn into ministry through working in the college department at her local church. During her time at Dallas Theological Seminary pursuing her Masters in Theology, she continued to work on an integrated view of counseling and theology. After graduating, God made it clear that Dayna’s field of work would combine aspects of both fields of thought. She desires to help others wrestle with their doubts, fears, anxieties, and harmful thought patterns and work towards embracing their true identity as a child of God.
